Where are your children…church?

AWANA begins Wednesday, August 29th from 6 pm – 7:30 pm

Pre-Registration for all kids begins this Sunday, August 12 – August 26. Please Pre-register to beat the crowds.

Awana Training for leaders and listeners is:

  • Sparks and Truth and Training – Wednesday, August 15 at 6 pm in Room 312
  • Puggles and Cubbies, Wednesday – August 22 at 6 pm in Room 312
  • All AWANA leaders/listeners Gathering – Sunday, August 26 at 4:30 pm in The Place

Make sure your child is in one of our Bible study groups on Sunday mornings at 9 am. And that you are in an adult Bible study small group as well.

The Discipleland Curriculum is excellent foundational bible study that focuses on children not just knowing the bible, but building character in their lives, and learning to serve the Lord.  Go to http://www.discipleland.com/ to check out the scope and sequence of DiscipleLand, and the parental helps that are provided.

Please go by your child’s class to meet their teacher, exchange contact info, and get to know them. These teachers love children and they love Christ and His Word.  They want to be of assistance to you as well.

Our Kids Worship has kicked back off at 10:30 in The Place, where the Word of God is taught in a way that is on their level.  This is for 2nd – 6th graders.

AWANA, DiscipleLand children’s small group studies, and D6Live are intended to be a resource for all our parents to use as a teaching tool at home throughout the week.  Talk with your children about what they have learned, encourage them, ask questions, let them teach it back to you, but whatever you do make it a priority in your home.  God has placed upon us as parents to be the primary faith teachers, and this must happen daily. The Church is a vital priority to your family’s discipleship. It should never be an add-on, or something we just tack on. Take advantage of these opportunities.

Check out the Milestone Page on the website to check out upcoming parental training.

See you at the building where His Church gathers this Sunday and Wednesday…and make sure your family is with you.
